Yeah, I had another breakthrough with my drawing recently.

See, I'm working on my comic, trying to get concept and reference stuff done, when I came to a startling realization.

I finished the rough sketch for the ACV(Alliance Combat Vessel)Firefly, and I also drew a little logo for it. You know how some ships or aircraft will have like a bulldog or a shark holding a torpedo or something, just giving you that toothy, bad-ass grin? Well, I drew a firefly holding a nuke! Wearing a helmet and smoking a cigar, with a shield for the overall background. It came out really good!

Then I drew the ship...

My God, it looked like a five-year-old drew it. It's crap, but I don't want to throw it away because the logo came out so good.

Anyway, the problem is, I think I only do ridiculously good on a project at the beginning, and then start to get lazy at the end just so I can finish it. I need to learn how to follow through with quality in my work... but that's a project for another time I suppose.

Anyway, wish me luck, and hopefully I'll have better news on my progress next time I deem it a good time to grace you all with my presence.
